Run For A Cause.

Approximately 400 runners participated in the "Run for cause" organized by the Community Development and Outreach Office  last September 7, 2014.

Runners assembled at around five (5) in the morning at the Manuel P. Santiago Park in Plaza Burgoz, Guagua, Pampanga. The President of Mary the Queen College (Pampanga), Inc., Mr. Michael B. Lapid delivered a short message to formally open the event.

Proudly wearing their I Saved a Life Today shirts, runners traversed from Plaza Burgos up to the MQC Campus. As an added feature, runners were shot with red colored water along the way.

The proceeds of the activity around Forty Thousand Pesos (P40,000) were given in a turn over ceremony to the parents of Baby Laurenz.

This is the first leg of a series of runs for the benefit of the liver transplant of Baby Laurenz.

The event was made possible through the efforts of the MQC Community Development and Outreach Office, Office of Student Affairs, Marketing Office and in coordination with the Municipal Government of Guagua.
